A good weekend destination for tourists from Hyderabad. A must-go during September to December. Also a good destination for trekkers. A nice forest cover. Kuntala waterfalls is quiet good and is claimed to be the highest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh. Pochera is a smaller waterfall.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
You need to take NH 7 from Hyderabad and proceed to Nirmal. Take note that it takes a good 4-5 hours to reach Nirmal from Hyderabad. You have very few good lodges at Nirmal so reserve before you leave. For all purposes you need to stay at Nirmal only. You need to carry food to the waterfalls. Their are some dhabas at Neredigonda Village on the highway which serves good food. Be particular to tell your choice of food. In these areas people eat very hot food. So dont take chances. You first completes Pochera and then go to Kuntala and allocate more time for Kuntala.
