Wilson Hill - A romantic hill station, Valsad, Near Surat

Wilson Hill is a fabulous hill station of south gujarat other than Saputara. It is situated near Dharampur. You can reach to Wilson Hill via Valsad-Dharampur cross road on Nh-8. One can go towards dharampur bypass and reach to the destination. It is about 25 kms from Dharampur.

There is a small monument like umbrella in the memory of lady Wilson. A good quality restaurant and small games for children are available there. The atmosphere is quiet romantic on the hill. Many couples from surroundings are enjoying the beauty or nature. Nearby visiting place is Shankar Waterfall which came on the way. Most preferable visiting time is July to March.

Fajalpore - Fabulous Picnic Spot near Vadodara

Nal Sarovar - A Famous Bird Sanctuary in Gujarat

Nal Sarovar lake is situated in Gujarat and has developed as picnic spot as well as the birds viewing sanctuary. Nal Sarovar is situated at around 45kms. from Ahmadabad. Eklingji - Temple of Lord Shiva Near Udaipur, Rajasthan

The temple of Eklingji is one such famous historical spot of Rajput times, situated 30 kms from Udaipur and 300 kms fom Ahmadabad. There is a lot of historical importance of this ancient temple of Lord Shiva. You can easily reach this famous temple by road either from Udaipur or Ahmadabad. There are regular buses plying from both these destinations as well as from all large cities of Rajasthan. However, generally such buses are running overcrowded and the better option to reach this Eklingji temple is by hired car or taxi, which is easily available from all cities of Rajasthan and Gujarat. This temple is said to be around 2000 years old. All the Rajput kings starting from King Udaising, who constructed this temple in twelfth century, have been regularly visiting this temple to pray. The statue/lingam of Lord Shiva here is having four faces. This is the most unique feature of this temple. The famous Rajput king Maharana Pratap was the most frequent visitor of this temple. Even today, the temple appears to be gorgeous and royal due to its spacious layout, and the most beautiful scenarios near and around this temple. The regular morning and evening arti rituals are really worth attending.

Vaishnodevi - A holy place in Jammu & Kashmir

Vaishnodevi temple is located at a place called Katra, around 58 kms away from Jammu. Jammu can be easily reached by train from all over the country. It has also an airport. Katra is the base village for starting your climb to the famous temple of Vaishno Devi. There is an uphill walk of around 13 kms from Katra to the main temple. This temple is located at 5300 feet height on the mountain Trikut. The walkway is recently made new and hence, it is quite comfortable to climb to the temple. The ponies, dolies and helicopters are also available for the people who cannot walk this distance. The temple of Adi Kumari comes at the half way. It has been said in Hindu Shastras that the Vaishno Devi was originally produced here. All the pilgrims perform puja of Kumari Mata at this place with lot of faith.
